OKC police said the officer first saw the suspect driving a Honda Accord off of Southeast 29th Street driving aggressively. When police tried to pull the car over, the driver took off.

A neighboring business captured video of police pursuing the suspect traveling down Southeast 29th Street around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

KOCO 5 crews were at the scene of the incident when it happened. According to the report, the officer stopped pursuing the suspect before approaching Stiles Avenue because they were driving at dangerous speeds through the area.

Officers then saw a trail of smoke on Southeast 29th Street following the direction of the vehicle, which was when they found the car crashed into a parking lot. Officers found the victim lying on the ground just north of the car.

Investigators are looking for a suspect with dark, longer hair who fled the scene.
